Weather you are an experienced exerciser or a complete beginner, personal training can be hugely beneficial and will be personalised to your goals and needs. Having experienced how hard it was to get back to fitness after having my daughter, Not only will I help you learn how to perform exercises properly step by step, with equipment suitable to your own abilities. I will ensure you have a fitness programme tailored specifically to you that is planned, progressive and and adjusted as needed. I can also provide you with nutritional advice to support your training.

The first session will be discussing and assessing your level of fitness, abilities and if you have any injuries or medical conditions that need to be considered. Following this we can start to work together towards your goals and needs.

Things we will look at are:

Functional training– How you move daily, performing everyday tasks or for a specific sport or activity. Here we will use equipment so the body can move freely in all planes of motion using the 5 main movement patterns, squat, hinge, push, pull and plank. Using bodyweight exercises, free weights, bands, medicine balls and suspension training.

Building strength– An important component of anyone’s training, building a strong heart, muscles, dense bones, while improving balance and co ordination. Using a variety of equipment suitable to you.

Ongoing assessments and communication– I like to constantly check in with my 121 clients to ensure the plan in place is effective and enjoyable. Training should be adaptable and progress should be measured.
